Steve Into town to the bottom of the moor outside a shop called brighthouse, near the kiosk that sells papers etc, you can catch the number 33 or 34 it stops outside a pub called The New Inn if you get off here and walk down backmore road it'll lead you straight to the nailmakers
Shiesh
You could get the tram to Herdings from city centre - The Nailmakers is only a short walk away from there !!

The bus service along Hemsworth Road is very random

The bus service along Hemsworth Road is very random the old 33/34 is now the 20/20A. Just to be confusing there is a new 33/34 which goes a completely different route, and mysteriously turns into a number 1 at Batemoor before heading on to Norton and Gleadless.
