What was the gay club called that used to be around the corner from Planet/Rockys???

Just reading the Dempseys and Fuel thread and got to thinking about the gay pub/club that used to be round the corner from The Planet/Rockys and cant remember the name, is really bugging me now!

 

Can anyone remember and did you used to go there?

A good,..maybe 10 years ago, not barcelona, no thats was a bar opposite right?

 

It was the place to be before the rockys reopened as the planet.

 

I would have thought that someone people on here would have known after reading there "experienced" explanations as to why the Planet/Cossack closed.

 

By the way the cossack closed because after Paul and David gave it up it turned into a complete ****hole with all the staff of their t*ts on allsorts!

The Bronx is now a sauna (used to be bar)?

Think it used to be called Cavaliers, which is now Bronx Sauna

Down there there was the Albert pub, Manhattans bar, Barcelona, Cavaliers, which was a pub then changed it's name to Bronx, then became a sauna.

Well cannot remember the pub name, but we used to go to one, and walk the back streets to get to Rockies, through the factories area, no idea what the place was called.

 

We also used to go to The Albert and go to the club from there.

The Cossack died, IMO, when The Planet owners got hold of it and turned it from a normal pub into a neon and glitter gay nightmare, alienating 90% of the regulars.
