Telewest and Hard Drive Recorders

Recommended Posts

Thats as maybe, but theres no other way to do what youre trying to do. You cant just buy a telewest tuner, nor can you split the signal from your existing box to allow you to tune it to 2 channels at once.

Well that's always a good point as well.

I don't think there's any (practical) way to do what the OP wants.

TVdrive is a good price for what you get (certainly better value than Sky+), and don't forget that the tvdrive box has hd output as well. You won't get a freeview/harddrive recorder with hd for £60.

Is there an impractical way? :hihi:

The High-Def point is valid, but when I won't be buying a HDTV for at least a few more years (I fail to se any real benefits as of yet) it doesn't make ot better value.

the obvious impractical way is to have 2 cable subscriptions and a scart splitter
