Eccesall Road closed Tomorrow? (Friday 24th)

Anyone know when/why Eccelsall road might be closed off tomorrow?

Been told by a friend it's closed from half one till half four i think, and i need to get to medowhall on the bus around 11. Something aobut a cycle race apparently?

If anyone could shed some more light on this much appreciated.

Friday 24th, do you mean Thursday 24th or Friday 25th......?

Just to clear things up, it's next Thursday - 31st August - that the Tour of Britain comes through Sheffo. Here's the details of road closures:

The race comes into town from Hathersage via Ecclesall Road South then down Pslater Lane and cuts back onto the bottom of Ecclesall Road by the old Ward's Brewery

It's great to see it back in Sheffield again I just hope we don't have any threads whinging about the roads closed!
