Moonbird   10 #61 Posted August 19, 2006 Surely the c word is just a term of endearment...people call it me all the time. I would slap em well round the chops
 Share this content via...
Halibut   12 #62 Posted August 19, 2006 I don't think you're slow today H, I think you're right on the ball.  As it happens Bartfarst, you're right, I am.
 Share this content via...
Crayfish   10 #63 Posted August 19, 2006 I think maybe the one you're looking for is 'Punani' (sp.?) as used by Ali G?  I did think of that actually, but I don't find that one offensive at all  Darn, was hoping to learn a new super-offensive swear word. Like the one my mum taught me when I just started swearing - something along the lines of 'I don't like you swearing chris, but if you must do then never ever say the word canard because it's the most offensive of them all'  I had a field day with it and think I managed to convince most of my friends it was very naughty too. Poor ducks.
 Share this content via...
Halibut   12 #64 Posted August 19, 2006 Hole or Halibut ?  He clearly means me, AJ. Bartfarst thinks I'm a C-word. Oh dear. Never mind, I have broad shoulders and if wants to demean himself publicly it's alright by me.
 Share this content via...

Bartfarst   10 #67 Posted August 19, 2006 Right enough AJ - I'd have the berk banned if he did that... I'm sure you'll do that over the next few days anyway - if not you then some lickspittle lefty will to go running to the mods if I say something that offends your delicate sensibilities.  It is of course a term of endearment - I wouldn't enjoy the Forum without my good friend H's delightfully predictable contributions. davyboy   19 #70 Posted August 19, 2006 The words Tw*t where (*=a) and pratt are used frequently these days without any offence but when I was young (40 years ago) around Romford in Essex it was the equivalent of the c word.  Edit the 1st word was spelled in full but was rendered as **** so I presume it's still has its original meaning, at least on SF
 Share this content via...
Crayfish   10 #71 Posted August 19, 2006 Isn't that some kind of duck??  It's French for duck Also apparently 'A horizontal control and stabilizing surface mounted forward of the main wing of an aircraft.'  So not that rude after all.
