Friendship. What is it?

Recommended Posts

a friendship is a deep understanding, shared interest between two or more people?

its a spark between two or more people that just means you get on together more than normal?

friendships have different layers, some people your friends with and some people you are best friends with

something like that anyway :P

hi minnime i think a friendhip is based on trust and loyalty i have only got a couple of friends really as i dont bother with ones that arent worth it! a proper friend isnt just out for themselves and is there for u when needed:thumbsup:

Over the Mod's dead bodies............they do have a sense of humour you know.

They must have a sense of humour to let me keep posting some of my rubbish. :hihi:

Friendship........it's when you can tell someone something important to you and you know they will not disclose your thoughts to anyone else. It's a mutual trust between 2 or more people.

It's about being a good listener and a truly trustworthy confidant.

It works both ways.....the friend also trusts you to be the same with them.

come on you lot would love to hear what u think:thumbsup:
i too have found out the hard way that so called friends can be very fickle indeed and were never my friend in the first place, apart from my mum who is my best friend and one friend at work, although we dont socialise or go out or anything like that as she has her husband and family ,but we can tell each other anything and no it will stay a secret.apart from that i have no true friends what so ever and life gets very lonely indeed but as you say it is hard to put your trust in people to accept them as friends when bad things have happened in the past

You have to realise that not everyone of us is the same and we all don't like the same things.

There's the kind of people that love receiving messages all the time and the other kind who maybe just like the odd one or two and are happy for it to be left that way.

If you think you've blown it then maybe leave them alone for a while, they'll get in touch in time if that's really what they want. :)
