i used to leave games loading while i went for dinner then come back to play dizzy, the roland games...roland on the ropes, in the caves, in time... i remember a pirate ship game wher you went from port to port dodging cannoballs...that was ace!

i also remember the first game i paid the shocking price of 4.99 for in a s****y card box... GOLDEN AXE! mmmmmmmmm worth every penny

'our' first was a speccy too - little rubber keys- we spent ages typing a list of commands for it then to rather scarily 'sing' happy birthday to us!!

After the rubber keyed speccy we graduated to another speccy with plastic keys and a built in tape player - hurrah - still remember the noises the games made as they loaded - took blinking hours!

Jet Set Willy was a favourite

Hungry Horrace another classic

Manic Miner - again what a classic

and how could anyone forget Daley Thompsons Trash your joystick Decathlon ?!
