Wasn't it on Ecclesall Road?

Correction. You're right, it was Barton's on Glossop Road.

Had giant pizza's

Anyone remember Stirrings on Oakbrook Road probably mid 70s to mid 80s? I lived nearby and on different occasions saw Marti Caine and Tony Christie going in, I'm sure both had Rolls Royce cars outside.

Can anyone tell me the name of the Italian Restaurant that was situated on the corner of the Peace Gardens,  just around the corner from where Brown's is situated now. You went downstairs but the entrance was on street level?

Also the Restaurants on Arundal Gate in the 70's/80's. Can anyone confirm if it was Bumbles Wine Bar on the lower ground floor and Rafferty's Restaruant on one of the upper floors, was there another one or two Restaurants in the same building?

Reminiscing!!!

Thanks folks

I think they were known as The Four Restaurants at one time yes :) I think there was Rafferty's as I mentioned and a Steak House but I cant remember what else was there. Im not sure if Bumbles Wine Bar came when the Restaurants were still open or not!! Someone with a good memory needed!!

Thanks for  the reply.
