crookes   10 #803 Posted November 11, 2006 Western Road 1949- 1959 ( Auction-Bibles mum ) Head teachers Miss Ellis & Mr Burnett   I was there then. The teacher went out of our class once and left us for about 10mins. About a quarter of the class went ape and kicked up a racket and eventually Mr Burnett walked in. I was singled out as a trouble maker as I had a ruler in my hand and got six strokes of the cane and yet I had never moved a muscle in those 10 mins. The teacher I liked was Mr Fry.
