The traffic lights at the bottom of Bamforth Street were out yesterday- are they not back on yet? Are there more sets affected now?

Power was out in B&Q, McDonalds and Morrisons at the Barracks today for about an hour and a half, as was all the traffic lights at the junction leading onto Penistone Rd!

Was a joy listening to all the musical horns

There was a problem with a sub station yesterday (a few of them had problems in different areas of Sheffield and Barnsley resulting in similar problems).

A lot of the offices, McDonalds, the petrol station etc. all lost power, but Sheffield Insulations onwards all had power.

The traffic lights suffered as a result of this which meant the usual 'everyone charge' route of getting through instead of taking turns and clearing traffic and a few people appeared to get free petrol at the petrol station when the power went (my mate reckons he saw this, I wasn't there so not sure).

Bit strange that several sub stations go at the same time. It all appears to be resolve now anyway.
