HP Elite x 3 phone to android

I love my X3 Elite windows phone , but it has drawbacks due to windows not backing up any more '

I have been told it can be changed to Android , but being non technical do not fancy attempting job my self .

Can any one on here do it or advise me of a mobile shop or boffin who will , I realise I could lose my windows system but willing to risk it as i love this brilliant phone and camera .   cheers will pay going rate for job no probs

Back up everything (photos, contacts etc) to an external device....

then see https://xdaforums.com/t/guide-how-to-install-android-to-hp-elite-x3.4565837/ for how to do it... but I wouldn't do it honestly...

or at a very minimum, see what's required for doing it as there are some caveats, such as Fingerprint not working, and Stereo sound doesn't work, the phone is relatively old now, and the android version will only be Android 7, which is pretty much defunct and out of date now (many apps from app store won't work with Android 7, and especially 'secure' apps like Banking apps, paypal, etc....

Thank you .its just a brilliant phone so thought i would ask , Been trying to get whats App without success .
