I just think going to the pub at half 11 in the morning is a bit uncouth, mate.

It’s a club , snooker , darts ,card games , it happens all over Europe , Some people who go do not drink , I don’t for one .

Any time - but as I don't run the trams, I have no idea why they took the decision they did.

Spring Lane switching point doesn't work anymore, or at least that's what they put on Twitter.  Also its in the middle of a live road.

And they got all the trams back to depot Sunday night under police escort so couldn't run a Gleadless-Halfway service .

There are no other switching points between Gleadleds and Sheffield Station.

Thanks, @HeHasRisen- so there were no trams after Manor Top, you have answered the question.

As I rarely use the tram, I don't take much notice of what is happening on the network.

They took them all back to depot at end of service Sunday night as they clearly thought everything would be back open again by start of service Monday. Plus there are associated issues with storing trams remotely away from the depot (security being the main one)

Getting them past the fire site required the fire service to agree and would have taken all of 5/10 mins late Sunday, they couldn't run a regular scheduled service all day Monday past it.

The switchback near Spring Lane stop, even if operational, can't be used without neccesating a full road closure of about 100 yards on Park Grange Rd from the junctions of City Road and St Aidans Road as trams would have to reverse the wrong way out of Spring Lane tram stop nearly 100 yards to access it.

Hope the above is an acceptable explanation for @hackey lad

I know but I'm just clarifying why they couldn't maybe run the service that far up.

Its a regular complaint and some people don't understand it's actually a bit complex.
