Yes it's expensive but it's totally worth it. Phenomenal beer, not for everyday drinking on my budget, but several cuts above what you normally get.

All the "unfiltered" beers I've had in the UK or here in France (very popular in the last few years) have a yeasty taste, not dissimilar to the end of the barrel back in the day. Higher alcohol content tends to disguise it.

I go in occasionally as I live nearby, and fair play to the boys,  they have steered the Two Thirds Bar all the way through the Covid era with determination, imagination and drive and managed not to succumb ! and now I wish then the best of luck in their new ambitious venture in the city centre, though haven't beer halls been tried before in West St ?

I hope and take it that the original Two Thirds Bar will carry on as normal with the same great talented crew in charge ?

Yes, Two Thirds on Abbeydale Road is sticking around alongside the new venture. 👍

I imagine this will be a bit different to places like Bierkeller on West St. Less of the Steins of generic lager and dancing on tables and more of a considered beer selection and good food in a nice environment.
