Once again I am getting increasing reports of people bickering, name-calling and generally being unkind in this section.

 

It is just silly and taking away from the fun chat and news. I appreciate there will always be low-level banter between rivals of clubs, but getting personal, aiming to wind people up and being offensive isn't on.

 

Some people clearly don't like each other. I suggest to you folk that you put the people you don't like on ignore and just move past their posts without biting.

 

I'm considering seperating the Sheffield Football section into new clubs for fans to join, so people can follow their specific team and won't need to see the rival team's posts. It seems to be the only solution to the pettiness really because friendly warnings and messages just don't seem to be working.

This section is in the process of being depreciated.

 

There are now dedicated Clubs and Forums for each team. The Clubs are open, but you will need to join the Club of your favourite team in order to be able to post on the forums for it. Take a look here:

Supporters are reminded to post sensibly in each section, and always follw the Sheffield Forum rules. Any rule-breaking in any Club forum will result in you being removed from that Club forum.
