You come across as the most level headed poster on these boards Padders. Ignore pillocks and keep enjoying your football! This isn’t the school playground and you don’t need to form allegiances in order to gain popularity… at least not on my part.
atticus Posted Friday at 23:10 Posted Friday at 23:10 Good quality game of football despite the lack of goals. A draw would have probably been a fair result but that extra bit of class got the blades over the line .. It feels like a big win 2

Don't know if there was any fighting in the tunnel I'm sure we'll be informed if owt happened. 2

From our position - John Street stand about 20 yards out from the Bramall Lane penalty area - it looked a bit harsh. Definite foul, but we were all surprised when the red card appeared. Our sending off was daft, he's a terrific player but on a yellow you don't pull someone back by the shirt in front of the ref. We've now got to play West Brom away without Souter and Anel our first choice central defenders. I'd take a draw 🙄
monzaman Posted Friday at 23:58 Posted Friday at 23:58 That ref loved showing the cards, he even booked the programme seller 🤣 1

If he clips the ball first he gets away with it, but unfortunately the risk backfired on him and he’s fallen foul of the last man rule. If the boot was on the other foot you simply can’t argue the rules of the game, it is what it is. If you commit to that challenge, you have to get it right or you get punished. 2

Fair enough, that wasn't clear from where we were sat and it looked a foul but nothing more. Good game for the neutral, a bit " chuffin ell what are we doing? " for the supporters. That goal kick short ball is doing my head in. Keeper plays it to defender in box, opponents who are stood on the edge of the area rush the man in possession, he plays it back to the keeper. The keeper then kicks it long, which is what he could have done in the first place under no pressure 🤬. Having defenders in our box at goal kicks to bring their forwards to the edge of the box is a good idea, then the keeper hitting it long looking for our front players would make sense but farting about and risking losing possession twenty five to thirty yards from our goal is ridiculous! 1
Ridgewalk Posted Saturday at 00:46 Posted Saturday at 00:46 Super Cooper. Looks like Wilders unearthed another gem in Davies. Ref was terrible. Atmosphere on Kop fantastic.
