All I know is that I seached for Open Office and several offers to supply it came up, each one with a price tag. I'll look again. Could you also explain this for me, please. I just read somewhere online that Open Office cannot go online. whereas Word can. Do you perhaps know what that means? As usual, I may , in general, be mistaken about this claim. But I wrote down the type number of the Open Office which was said not to go on the net. It is LTSC 2024. Have I got this wrong - do all Open Offices work on the net and what does it mean for them to work on the net? How does one put the Open Office typed words on the net?
Longcol Posted Saturday at 23:00 Posted Saturday at 23:00 Rarely need MS Office - still using the 2010 version I got for free a couple of desktops ago- use Excel twice a year for calculations for French and UK tax returns, Word occasionally, migrated from Outlook to Gmail several years ago.
