It's because of the complacency and denial of people like you that it's going to happen. Are you still gloating over the death of the Queen or are you too busy gloating because Charles and Kate have been diagnosed with cancer? Proper weird response that me old.

Before Mr. Farage persuaded people to leave the EU, they could have been returned to the safe EU countries they came through. Not anymore though. 1

A quarter of these (51) were transfers to France." 1

The number of previous returns under the Dublin Regulation isn't very relevant, considering that the number of arrivals by boat massively increased after Brexit. Do you really think that Home Secretaries such as Priti Patel and Suella Braverman wouldn't have made maximum use of those powers? Anyway, those powers are gone and the EU are not minded to give them back, and we're not rejoining the EU. The leavers have made our bed and we'll have to lie in it - they certainly won't take any responsibility.

Really couldn't be bothered to use it. Places like Belgium, Holland, Switzerland and Sweden (particularly), managed orders of magnitude more than the UK even attempted.

It's the same as with EU migrants coming here living off benefits instead of working. We could easily have returned them home just like every other EU country did but chose not to.
