England very lucky to progress, they were hundscheiße for the first 93 minutes.

82 mins before England had a strike on target.  Very lucky indeed against a team ranked 45th in the World.

I was 90% of the way through the job application to the FA.  I was convinced there would be a vacancy by 20:00 tonight.

Keep working on that application - I can't see us lasting until the 82nd minute against those Swiss!

Commentators already working on comparing England's full backs to a piece of Swiss cheese.

Considering how, at various points in the game, we played with Saka (winger), Eze (winger) ,and Konsa (CB) at left back, and in the previous match we saw right sided Walker being tried there in the absence through injury of the only left back in the squad and his (right-sided) replacement Trippier (now also injured apparently), I have an idea....

We have a left footed player in the team who is known to be a great passer of a ball from the back.  Why not play him there?  All we've got to do is take the gloves off him, put Ramsdale in goal and we'd have a genuine left-footed player on that side for a change to give us the balance we clearly lack.

What a massive steaming pile of manure that performance was. Southgate is the luckiest man about this morning.

His team and tactics were borderline insanity. Imagine bringing on your first tactical substitute in the 82 minute when you have witnessed 81 minutes of not managing a shot on target!!! Then brings on a striker in the 94th minute!! What an absolute melt the bloke is.

Luckily the Slovakian manager did a Southgate and ordered his team to defend a lead and they paid the price, although his counterpart did exactly the same once we went ahead.  I've actually grown to really dislike Southgate this tournament. Can't wait until he leaves which will be soon after we play anyone decent.

My lads have just scraped through 1 - 0 against the Belgiums.

C'mon le Bleus!

Allons enfant de la patrie,
Le jour de gloire est arrivé!
Contre nous de la tyrannie,
L'étendard sanglant est levé... Oh, ony, on, oh, ony, on, ho, ho, nah, nah, nah, neee, nah!

I'll tell you what we need to liven things up.

Remember the good old days?

If a game was getting boring, they'd send on a streaker, every team should have a female streaker on the bench..

This would get the fans clapping and cheering..

Remember Erica Rose.

It's freedom of expression mate. And art.

Nowt dodgy about Erica and her friends.
