Brands and Roberts families of Attercliffe

is there anyone on this site who can remember any of these famlies who came off attercliffe my grandad bill brand lived on don road my uncle norman roberts whos family came off the cliff later lived on the wybourn has did other members of his family i also had an uncle of attercliffe harry tuckwood whos son as now got the sicey hotel in sheffield

I had an old mate Tony Brightmore who married Pat Roberts.

 

I believe her family lived near the end of Alfred Road.

 

The Roberts were a large family, a typically good Attercliffe family.

 

They used to live on the Batemoor Estate.

pat roberts is my uncle normans sister there mother wascalled alice and there dad was called tippler your right they did come off alford rd and there local pub was the forge

i have an uncle called ken roberts lived near ripon street in 1960s

as a kid used to sit on mr.roberts trolley, he had no legs and used to propell himself about using two wooden blocks in his hand to push his trolley down the cliffe,dead now i heard but once met him in the elm tree manor top,he remembered me,party trick was bending an old penny with his fingers.......cant think of his first name,,,,,,

Hi my mum was called pat roberts she had a massive family her sisters was called Mary Pauline Shirley and Betty roberts she also had brothers named Freddy derek roberts they all lived on wybourn estate me mum was married to frank Scarborough

Hi Dawn my mother is Joan brand i was born on Don Road 54 years ago. Think we are related.

Knew scrap lorry driver called him Tuckwood lived on Decon Square bottom of Brinsworth street
