Andy_terrier Posted January 30 Posted January 30 They seem to have become like smoking weed in public. Technically illegal but no one does anything about them. The scooters and the bleeding e bike couriers round the city centre. The silent death. I'm surprised there hasn't been more injuries the way they bang round the paths and pedestrian areas. 4

The only public places e-scooters are allowed are trial areas and Sheffield isn't one of them. Technically a rider of an e-scooter needs a license, insurance, MOT, etc - but it isn't currently possible to get those for e-scooters. 1 1 Sheffield Forum | The Sheffield Guide | The Sheffield Shop
The_DADDY Posted January 30 Posted January 30 They are a bloody nuisance. Especially when most of the riders seem to wear all black and use them at night. 1

That's some shocking parenting ☹️
zach Posted January 31 Posted January 31 They (the Gov/Police) don't seem to give a toss about many harder to police crimes. Plus they are very busy atm stopping disposable vapes! They WON'T stop kids vaping. They don't care about kids using e-scooters and doing many other crimes. Then they wonder why the kids are going 'rebel' and have no fear of the police. Bloody idiots.
