Runningman Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Liverpool manager has announced he is leaving the club at the end of this season. 1st item on the news at lunch time today. Is it that important to be given preference over what is happening in the world today ? I personally don't think so, but I am aware the usual crazy crew on this forum will think different. As always and you will remain nameless, I look forward with great expectations for your replies !
crookesey Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Believe it or not but this really did happen in the world today, sadly not in respect of either Sheffield club.
geared Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Localised flooding reported on the Mersey, as Liverpool fans cry their eyes out. 1

Baron99 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Klopp, (every time I hear his name I can't help thinking of Sam Kelly's German character in 'Allo, Allo'), reckons he's taking a year off to recharge his batteries. It'll last as long as some Saudi club offers him £10 million a week for a year's contract. That'll take him nicely up to the 2026 World Cup when he'll take over the German national side. On a final note. I must say, he does have great teeth. 1
Hopman Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Now that Darren Moore is leaving Huddersfield, maybe he's after the Liverpool job. Wasn't there a former Huddersfield manager in charge at Liverpool years ago?

Baron99 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 (edited) Xavi, manager at Barcelona is another stepping down at the end of this season. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/68120429 "From a mental-health level, it's tough too. I am a positive guy, but the battery levels keep running out - and at some point, you realise there's no point in staying." All these blokes in their mid 40's to mid 50's suffering from burn out & mental health issues. Neil Warnock's going to be in demand this July. Edited January 30 by Baron99
