As I said in the other thread, this place sounds very similar to https://boombattlebar.com/uk/sheffield/?gad_source=6 that's been open round the back of the Moor for a while.

I rarely see people out around the New Era square, so it will be interesting to see if this pulls more people into the area.

 

Personally the option of axe throwing wins out for me, so I'd pick Boom bar 👌

I created two identical threads in error, and asked for one to be deleted.

 

Feels like enough difference between the two venues, and Roxy Ballroom, to have a space in the market. 

 

Personally, nowadays I'd rather sit in a boozer talking rubbish and swilling lager with my mates, but I'm an older geezer and likely not their target market

Ax throwing also appeals to me, but once I saw a video where a girl threw an ax and it bounced right into her head, but luckily the girl managed to dodge. And now I always remember this when talking about axes. Therefore, I would like to warn that in any case you should be careful, because the bets are very high. Have a nice and safe day everyone.

I was in here at the weekend - not like Roxy or boom bar at all.

 

Bit more upmarket - all the sport on.  Had a dj etc
