According to the newspapers, tonight’s storms were to be the evivalent of riding alongside the horseman of the apocalypse, and the king of terror was to rain hell from the skys

 

There were to be mini tornadoes, hail stones the size of ford focuses falling from the sky and floods the like had not been seen sizes the days of noah.

 

If the storms that we have seen this evening are anything to go by, then the horsemen of the apocalypse must have got of there horses, and are instead riding on the backs of seaside donkeys.

By this evening on BBC weather they were just forcast isolated storms, mainly in south east and said most people would only experience a distance rumble of thunder at most..... although they didn't forcast the 4 1/2 hours of heavy rain we have had tonight, so may as well just look outside anyway.

Temperature dropped significantly here in Crosspool about an hour ago. Just started raining big raindrops and there's been the odd rumble of thunder in the distance.
