Twitter Reinstates 'Patriotic Alternative' Then Suspends Them Again

I have no truck with extreme Right wingers*, but I am a bit concerned at the increasing levels of censorship these days.

It's getting to the stage they not only tell us what to do (and they do that in more and more intrusive ways) but they also seem to be telling us what to think, and certainly what we can and cannot say.

It's very worrying, particularly as the trend is accelerating, with no signs of slowing down.....

 

* I really do not, I have no problem with immigration, so long as they come here to work (and obey the law obviously)

Allow all viewpoints or none at all.

I know nothing about this group, so have had a quick look up about them.

 

Apparently they have targeted the LGBT community as being a danger to young children. As a member of the LGBT community, I don't want them spreading lies and disinformation about me.

It was also found by counter terrorism experts a couple of years ago that they were using social media to recruit young people.

It wouldn't surprise me if they are on a list kept by the Home Office of banned groups in the UK.

 

I'm glad that their social media accounts have been suspended, if only to stop them spreading their hate.

Meh, I deleted my Twitter account ages ago and have NO plans to go back! I kept getting inboxed by  "Foreign" women sending porn links, rather annoying.
