Is It Safe To Give No For Whatsapp Use With Stranger?

Sometimes we take risks, it is part of everyday life. Avoiding perceived risks can result in missed opportunities, OR it could save us from being scammed. I don't click on links from unknown sources. I also have the genuine Whatapp. Scammers can hack via the  fake app.

A  person I am communicating with online has requested my number for Whatsapp use.  What could possibly go wrong  . But why not tx or talk on phone? Unless the person has a load of data left but has no minutes/texts left

Is it safe/wise to have it and similar data harvesting apps installed at all might be a more pertinent question.

Its the same thing. Your phone number IS the number that he or she would use on Whatsapp.

 

Its just what people like to do these days. The art of phone conversation is dead, and text messaging back and forth is a bit archaic.

Just maybe be wary about what info you give out, and if a request for money comes in, block immediately.

How would you know anything about their appearance just from talking on the phone? She could  be an 18 stone female wrestler. And would her appearance matter if there were other things you liked about her.
