For some reason I can't seem to download the website. That sometimes happens on my computer when the pages are too large.

Anyway I hope Dusty Springfield and Scott Walker are honoured.

 

There are some singers that I like, whose voices wouldn't be regarded as brilliant, but whose unique voices nevertheless really bring their songs to life. Marc Almond, Siouxsie Sioux, Phil Oakey, John Grant, Thom Yorke, Beth Gibbons and Helen Marnie I would put into that category. You just can't imagine anyone else singing their songs.

I think that's at odds with a lot of singers nowadays who technically maybe brilliant, but whose voices are very generic and a bit bland.
