Just depends on the software you wish to use, and what you are doing with it, i'd say both are as 'good' as each other...

i didn’t like P.S. for Mac when I used it recently; worth checking out Affinity Photo (available for Mac and Windows I believe) for photo editing.

Agree, I've been using their previous product Serif PhotoPlus for years
