Agent Ransack(File Finder) Raising Cpu Temp Nearly Double!

Its a great file finding utility, but it is making my CPU Temp(ryzen 3600) go up from 36 to 72 degrees, every single time!

 

Will mail the software company, its free to non commercial users but still

That might be a known issue: PC CPU is always stuck while using Agent Rasack.

72c is still fairly cool for a Ryzen 5 3600 so wouldn't worry about it. Max chip temp is 95c and as long as it does not go over 80c there should be no throttling down.

 

It's also worth checking to see how it is set up in power management as well.

 

BTW, out of interest what cooler are you using?

Can't help much on that I'm afraid as I have never used an AIO.

 

You could try fools suggestion with voidtools.com everything.
