Sad news.  She had a long battle with breast cancer.   She was a nice lady with a lovely singing voice.

Oh how sad. A beautiful lady both outside and in. Always seemed such a lovely personality, I didn't even realise she'd been made a dame. I believe she did a lot of charity work for breast cancer. She'll always be the iconic Sandy in 'Grease.,' who else could have played it better? There are worse ways to be remembered.
