Is It Safe To Let A Dog Lick You ?

My neighbour has a Labrador dog who climbs up on her knee every day and licks her face, neck, arms and ankles. She likes this but is it healthy ?

I don’t think I’d let a dog lick my face.    You don’t know where it’s had it’s tongue
