Trans exclusionary radical feminist, a term of abuse that people like the delightful Owen Jones disingenuously suggest should be used synonymously with 'transphobe' and now almost exclusively is. Most labelled as 'terfs' are as radical as a cup of coffee, but are critical or sceptical of gender identity ideology (essentially that being a woman or a man is a sense or feeling, thus excluding the material reality of sex), and who support sex-based rights.

Owen Jones , horrible little man . Im sure he would find a homophobic slur in my sentence ,somewhere

Trouble is, people polarise the issue and use silly terms to categorise people.

If you see what I mean…

And some folks exploit it for purely political purposes.

They do, for sure.

The substantive point is that we have different subsets of people looking for protection and safety . Surely most of the human race would want to engage with each other in order to make it happen.

The shouty, name calling, offended on someone else’s behalf stuff is really unhelpful. As is calling people woke, or claiming that the issue is about men “pretending “ to be women.

I’m blaming Twitter, because it clearly isn’t Thatcher’s fault.

The human race never did "want to engage with each other in order to make it happen", as far as history shows.

Even so-called "enlightened Europeans" can't resist killing each other over and over again!

It is crazy, we live in a democracy, we have freedom of speech but if a person starts saying things the minority don't like then they are attacked  on social media platforms. On these social media platforms the attackers will do the best they can to ruin that persons reputation.

Fair-minded people needed to respond to the bullies.

Sometimes, but, not always...

If you're a more fair minded and enlightened intelligent type; why would you expend time and energy responding to thick people?

There's a saying,...

If you're walking down the street, and you see a turd to the side of the pavement, you don't go out of your way to step in it.
