Nothing to do with Sheffield being a City of Sanctuary. They’re not Asylum Seekers or Refugees.

What is it to do with then please?

Its to do with the scummers who live there (I am not even sure what ethnicity most are. Slovak?). Its not specifically a problem relating to asylum seekers or refugees.

Yes,  The East European Roma came mainly under the EU's Freedom of Movement laws.

I would also like to know why, if they are not refugees or asylum seekers, are they living there.

Someone must have sanctioned their entry into this country so who would that be?

It's long past the time when we should have re-introduced identity cards so that we know who everyone is, where they came from and why.

We would then know the true scale of illegal immigrants living among us.

At the same time, we should make clear, that anyone granted the right to enter this country, is only allowed as long as they obey our laws and by-laws.

As Carosio said in the post before yours, they came here perfectly legitimately under the EU's Freedom of Movement laws.

Probably because it isn’t really a difficult problem.

Step 1. Throw some resources at the problem and have a proper clean up.

Step 2. Throw a few more resources at it and arrest/fine/jail anyone  who messes the area up again.

It might ruffle a few feathers, but I bet that most people would be glad of some action.

They have been doing that for years and no difference

Dead simple.

Catch them and punish them.

It's just a case of both council and police being afraid of the "racist" label.

That must be tackled because we cannot allow any section of society to do as they please in case they scream "racist".

We have had many years of a "Law & Order" government in power.

Just look around because they could have fooled me.

Another problem is how this turns from a street / area cleanliness issue into a racist or immigration issue instead so, ALL citizens must be made to conform to our rules and laws.

Yes agreed but the Nation’s majority voted to withdraw from EU partly because of the said issues. The rules have changed.

If the council give someone an on the spot fine for littering, how do they know who they are giving it to  ?

These are the type of people who:

a) will pretend not to understand English when challenged

b) give fake details

c) not pay fines

d) a combination of the above.

I live on the same street as an Italian, a Finn, a Dutchman and a Czech. Should they all now be booted out of the country?
