Aidan Goatley And Pip Mason - Work In Progress

Recommended Posts

Fancy a night of engaging tales told by 2 very different men, who share the same hairstyle, before they go off to the Edinburgh Fringe?

About this event

Join local comedian Pip Mason ('Very funny' - Edfringe.com) and the not so local Aidan Goatley, ('A brilliant raconteur' - Fringe Guru) for an evening of Sheffield Steel, prosthetic body parts, cruise ships and a distinct lack of health & safety laws. Blurb for each show is below.

Aidan Goatley: TENACIOUS

Ever felt like giving up? Ever wondered how some people keep going, no matter what? Feel-good comedian Aidan Goatley answers these questions with his new show - Tenacious.

Including cruise ships, prosthetic body parts, angry opticians, and the best ending ever, Aidan (as seen on BBC1 and at The Hammersmith Apollo) guides us through a tale that led to a dream coming true.

‘It’s heart-warming positive comedy, like no-one else is doing, and the world really needs it right now’ - Romesh Ranganathan

‘Goatley is fabulous, funny, warm, and tingly.’ - Mark Thomas

‘Hilarious’ - Broadway Baby ★★★★★

‘Brilliant’ - Fringe Guru ★★★★★

‘Punctual’ - School Report 1989 ★★★★★

Pip Mason: STEELBOY

Sheffield used to have the steel industry and it was kind of a big deal. One engineer told his son amusing tales about it but the boy soon discovered it was not as fun as his Dad made it out to be.

Comedian Pip Mason has documented these stories about his Dad’s life and how it relates to his own working life, and memories of a time gone by (that severely lacked health & safety laws).

"A warm & engaging performer..." Lee Moore, Tales of Whatever

"Scene-stealing..." Forge Press

“Pip Mason is a terrific storyteller with a whip smart sense of humour. Plus he makes good coffee." Aidan Goatley
