Cineworld Bow To Mob Rule

as far as im aware this was peaceful, as for covid i saw plenty of abuse of police, swearing etc which was far from peaceful, but i know you only like freedoms when they are something you agree with

It was that peaceful that Cineworld have had to stop showing the film for the safety of their staff and customers, bully boy tactics winning, a sad day for Great Britain.

I don't think I've ever mentioned covid protests ever, if they became unruly then they were in the wrong end of.

That doesnt mean they were violent, that means there was a lot of people and they were at various venues, ive not seen any reports of violence or arrests...but youll just call it a conspiracy to hush it up as its muslims.

The ironic thing about all this, it was muslims protesting about a muslim made film, its shia versus sunni factions. But you all seem to think its some great anti muslim thing being hidden, which it isnt.

There were no arrests because the police wouldn't dare turn up or they'd appear waycist. You can be very intimidating without actually committing violent acts and that's whats happened here, look up the "test of consequnces".

So why didn't the police turn up, they were stopping a legitimate business from functioning?

There were similar protests, and film bans about The Life of Brian and about The Last Temptation Of Christ.

I’m amazed that Cineworld have caved in, they should have used some of their vast profits to hire security.

That said, I’m no fan of religious nutjobs dictating what we can and can’t see. They can’t intimidate Sky Cinema though and I guess that this film will end up there, with a record audience.

Nor me. Dogmatic religious certainty is, in my view, a form of mental illness, and who wants a bunch of mentally ill people dictating what everyone else can or can’t do? (unless we are talking about politicians running the country, in which case, it’s perfectly acceptable)

What people choose to believe is absolutely their own business; but, it stops being just their own business, when they act coercively or negativity impact on other people.

From the one clip I saw, the crowd could certainly be described as intimidating,
