As said, not a single complaint would have been made. As for Tyler, he has been slagged off all season on Twitter, he is past it, this just gave people an ideal excuse to pretend to be outraged. Perhaps Len Goodman should stick to, well whatever it is that he is expert in, and leave the culinary critiques to people who have more knowledge in these matters. A comment quoted in The Times sums up this ludicrous PC over reaction very well : Apparently the BBC is getting a lot of complaints about what Len Goodman's grandmother said years ago about foreign food. A lot of people said exactly the same thing back then because it was new to them. What Len said was [just] a fact. How can people have a problem with that ? Absolutely. Why are so many people determined to be offended these days ? This thread would be just as appropriate in the thread "Modern life is rubbish", that's how absurd it is, and worrying. You cannot say anything these days, and the trend is inescapable........ Edited June 7 by Chekhov
 Share this content via...

Cody's Granddad #30 Posted June 7 John Lydon was on that awful Phil and Holly programme last week I think it was and he said a swear word on there. It was live and not seen anyone offended by that, made me laugh though Phil Schofield didn't know where to put his face
 Share this content via...

That's the most ironic (and funniest) thing I have ever read on here. Particularly on the Covid threads (but also more recently on Modern Life is Rubbish and the Biased BBC thread) it is, very ironically, the PC Wallahs* who are by far the most offensive and personal on this entire forum. * the ones who think no expense is too great or no edict or law banning anything and everything is too severe, in order to avoid upsetting someone, " literally anything is acceptable in order to stop the possibility of anyone getting upset". Hypocrites. Edited June 7 by Chekhov
 Share this content via...

But the penny dropped, it's actually very important. It's not the message it sends to the Ukrainians, or even the Russians, that is important, no, it's the message its sends to our own government, i.e. the UK population wants them to support the Ukraine in every possible way regardless of the cost or how long they have to do it for. 1 hour ago, Magilla said: True that... also, has this "apology" actually been given... No apology was necessary, it just panders to these people and encourages them in their PC over sensitivity.
