All roads containing ex-council housing should be named after her.  There would be lots of 'Thatcher' Roads, Crescents, Places, Drives and Avenues in Sheffield!

Thatcher Rd - leading to - This Lady's not for Turning.

Argentina Way - leading to - Wars Close.

Iron Lady Way - leading to - Or no other Way.

Thatchers Avenue (Having you) - leading to - Milk Snatcher's Close.

Thatchers Rise - leading to - Miners Fall.

Thatchers View - leading to - Mad Cow Way.

Thatchers Villas - leading to - Mines a Terrace.

Miners in the Field - leading to - Bobby's Mount

Poll Tax House - leading to - Protest on-the- Street

Thatchers (Dead End) - leading to - Party's in-the Street (Miners Village)

Gauntlet's Down

No one will need shower gel soon,  the way this lots goin off, we will all end up  goin to the nearest streams/rivers to get weshed and do our laundry. :gag:

Sorry, that was a tongue in cheek reference to an article from someone who runs a food bank who was complaining that people were not donating the right things and they never get shower gel, deodorant or biscuits. Cant see the problem myself with using a bar of soap as its cheaper, lasts longer so better for the poor peoples.

If it wasn't for exPrime Minister Thatcher the unions would be running the country

Have the pair of them been charged yet with a criminal offence(s).

I have not seen anything in the media.

Apparently the police are still investigating the incident. Mind you, given what happened to the people charged with criminal damage for tearing down statues and got off with it I doubt anything will come of it. Maybe the Universities concerned could take action though, keeps fingers crossed...;)

Fined £90 & hardly managed to hit the statue.  What a limp-wristed idiot.

I'm guessing part of his motivation is to try & be 'down' with the students of Leicester Uni & no doubt it'll be something he can bring up at dinner parties as a badge of honour with his equally Leftie guests.

The far left are just as stupid as the far right, to detest a politician of any party to the form of personal hatred is the act of the of the minority, thank god.

Those who couldn't tend to, or visit their elderly relatives, be with their dying partners, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, let alone attend their funerals & all those who were fined for the slightest of infringements while this government 'Partied on'

are probably stocking up on eggs at this very moment ready for the day Boris's statue is erected.

It seems that this sort of thing is going to happen time and time again considering it’s such a blatantly obvious target. The constant cleaning and repair will no doubt be costing the local council who’ll probably regret going ahead with it.

They will if someone manages to chuck some bird seed on top of the statue.
