His younger brother, Mathew Furness ran the family ganister mine, he was married with a young family. As Charles was single he moved to work in Westthorpe pit in Killamarsh. He lodged with my grandmother’s elder sister in the village, they met and married. I have got all Charles and Mathews brothers and sister details.
