Surplus Tomato Plants

Recommended Posts

Well I offered last year and no one wanted any, a bit earlier this year but I have some Marmande (Beef tomatoes), Roma (Plum) and Money maker plants. So if there is anyone who wants any let me know. Some are ready for either planting into pots or growbags and almost outgrowing the pots they are in now.

It seems to me the last frosts are getting earlier every year .
Years ago I never considered putting out cold sensitive plants until the beginning of June .

This year due to space constraints squashes, tomatoes ,corn and bedding plants are all now in their final positions.
I think it will be a bumper crop of potatoes and early peas.

Rhubarb plants have turned into a forest.

anyone wishing to save a few pennies (don’t we all) should get a pot, trough or any decent size container and sprinkle a few mixed leaf seeds on top , keeping it by the kitchen door and picked as needed .Similarly with spring onions.

ps set more leaf seeds every few weeks.
