Andrew Ruddle   0 #1 Posted May 5, 2022 A plea for help from down South. I am trying to find out if Glossops Trophies (86 Broad Street) is still going. I help to run a rowing event on the Thames and up to Covid-time they supplied us with very nice engreved tankards. As theer were no rowing events during lockdown I've not had to get in touch with them, but now it's all starting again I find that their phone is now "number unobtainable". The only online info about them is just endless re-hashings of undated basic stuff in directories, which is no help. Has anyone involved with a sports event any fresh input (maybe a new phone number) for me ? Thanks for reading.
 Share this content via...
HeHasRisen   3,316 #2 Posted May 5, 2022 Cant help but an idea...why dont you try giving Granellis a ring and asking if they are still there? Only a few doors down. I havent driven past in ages and wouldnt have clocked if it was closed or not anyway.
 Share this content via...

Findlay   116 #6 Posted August 24, 2022 Sorry to say that Bob no longer runs Glossop Trophies. He was a great craftsman, working for many decades in the pewter trade making flasks and tankards.
 Share this content via...
