In my opinion, the best result for the Owls would be to lose 1-0.

A 0-0 draw would produce a cagey 2nd leg.

If the Owls win 1-0 then Sunderland would come to Hillsboro with all guns blazing, going on the attack knowing they must win, not good news I'm afraid...

However, should the Owls lose 1-0, then Sunderland would come to Hillsboro in a defensive mode.

This would allow the Owls to chuck the kitchen sink at em, and hopefully gain a victory...

Hope Darren is listening...

So it would be better if you lose 3 - 0 then you could chuck the entire contents of B & Q at Sunderland.

So if the owls lose 1-0 on Friday the whole of Sheffield football will be happy.

Please be listening Darren.

Seen it so many times, the away team win 1-0, then lose at home....

Also seen it many times the away team lose 1-0, then win at home.

I'd be happy to lose 1-0.

I hope your wish comes true and you're very happy on Friday night.

More importantly I hope I'm very happy about 2-45pm on Saturday...

That depends on if you sell all your ointment.

The Blades are always more important than Wednesday.

Aim to win both legs. A 1-0 defeat wouldn't be a disaster though.

The way I look at it Nervy 👀,

If the Owls win 1-0. how do they approach the second leg.

Do they attack and leave themselves open at the back,

Or do they defend for their lifes and hope to keep a clean sheet ?

It's a dilemma.

Lose 1-0 no problem, they know exactly what tactics to employ...

Wether we win or lose the first leg they should approach it the same. I wouldn't really trust us to shut up shop even if we were leading after the first leg. Attack is the best form of defence they say.

I think we just have to trust in Moore's tactics whatever he chooses though.

Should be interesting, as the ground capacity is 39,812.
