I read this morning 35,000 sold and the fans were hoping they'd open the concourse for more tickets. Tickets for the match on Wearside are still on sale, with the attendance expected to rise above the 40,000 mark. The attendance is set to be Sunderland’s biggest of the season by far, surpassing the crowd of 38,395 for the Black Cats’ 2-1 defeat against Doncaster when Jermain Defoe made his second debut for the club. Taking to Twitter, The Athletic journalist Michael Walker has revealed that the Wearside club have already sold 35,000 tickets for their first leg of their play-off tie at home to the Owls on Friday night, and are aiming to sell more than 45,000 in total. Wear some old 1960's clobber & you'll blend in with the surroundings. Also if rain is predicted, I'd bring a canoe to paddle on the flood plain 😁
 Share this content via...

You know what, Rotherham went to Sunderland recently and played them of the park... Even though Rotherham are promoted, I rate the Owls as good as Rotherham... Don't want a 1-0. but 3-0 will do.
