If the money stays in the country where it is earned then no more tax would be payable. As they are not staying that is fair enough. If the money comes here then tax is payable as proscribed in the agreement between the two countries so that she is not double taxed.  This also stops everybody who can get paid in a country with the lowest tax and living in countries with the best roads, services etc. Some actually prefer to 'domicile' here and pay full tax.
 Share this content via...

If you were so concerned with the Bible teachings, you'd know that your master, Boris Johnson, has certainly transgressed when it comes to sinning. That doesn't seem to concern you. You were probably playing with yourself when they were teaching about the 10 Commandments.  We can all find bits in the Bible that confirm out prejudices, and discard the rest.   So back under your bridge, and don't bother with your usual troll bait.  You're boring. Anna B   1,409 #70 Posted April 10, 2022 (edited) Morals and ethics. Being a good person. Fairness. Knowing and doing what is right. etc. etc. It's not hard. People used to know what these were, especially those with a responsibility to others, and acted accordingly. They didn't try to hide behind the letter of the law or anything else, they did what was right, but not any more and we're all the poorer for it...  Why do some people always try to defend the indefensible...
