It's the motoring equivalent of Godwin's.
 Share this content via...

Cyclist will simply fall off the bike at some time if they are daft enough to try using the bike and phoning and its unlikely they will kill some one like the mobile using lorry and car drivers do .  3 hours ago, Bargepole23 said: In other news....  https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/west-midlands-police-bmw-walsall-wolverhampton-crown-court-the-crown-b2054077.html Ah, whataboutery at it's finest. Cody's Granddad   52 #20 Posted April 13, 2022 I cycle every day and have never come across a cyclist using a mobile phone. I see it every day with motorists. I am a motorist to and respect cyclists on the road and give them space. You can always tell a motorist who cycles, regarding mobile phones it should be illegal to use it while cycling but why would you
 Share this content via...

Kim Briggs was killed by an 18 year old being stupid on a mountain bike. This is another argument as most cyclists are law abiding. I do agree that the cycle paths combined with pedestrians are dangerous as in this case and you wouldn't get an argument from me. Cycle paths should be road side only but maintained and cleaned as most of them are riddled with glass
 Share this content via...

Cycle paths should be road side only but maintained and cleaned as most of them are riddled with glass So you also agree that roads combined with cyclists is dangerous. You have fast moving traffic held by slower, more vunerable traffic. The stick in the mud when cyclists argue about shared cycle/pedestrian infrastructure is that it slows them down, yet it's the same arguement that many drivers have about cyclists on the road. In that instance drivers are told to put up and learn to share by cycling groups. Maybe when it comes to shared infrastructure they should practice what they preach?
 Share this content via...
