You would like to think that . Strangely enough during this Easter shut down, they are working on the cables at Donetsk Way

Seems sensible to work on as many things as possible. Volker Rail have been brought in to do the things actually necessitating the closure between the station and Beighton this weekend, rails are being replaced.

If they are held by the maintenence provider, then yes. If they are something normally available off the shelf, maybe not. My own industry is seeing lead times of up to 40 weeks for things which would have been next day.

Ah that’s ok then

Don't think I said it was OK, but it may be the case.

Why does the Tram replacement bus not stop at Crystal Peaks bus station ? It makes sense to use it as it already drives through it

You answered your own question. “Because it makes sense” this is Stagecoach and SYPTE

Probably because it’s a “tram replacement” service and not a standard bus service.

Clue is in the title 😉

That goes through a bus station next to a tram stop

Bus stop is at side of the tram stop. Why would it stop at the bus station which isn’t close to the tram stop?

It’s a tram replacement service, not an additional bus service.

The tram bus stop leaving Peaks is about 300 yards above the tram stop up a hill . Not good for elderly shoppers. So why not use the bus station?

Does the tram use the bus station = no. Not sure how you’re finding this hard to grasp. It’s a tram replacement service.

If you want the bus station - catch the 120 or any other local bus service.

Not sure your grasping it . Tram replacement bus goes through the bus station but does not use it . Why not ? It would be far better for users of the tram replacement bus . It’s common sense

Michael has a point tbh. Its a service to replicate the tram route and the tram doesnt stop in the bus station. You have to admire the pedantry.
