No need to ask Zakes obviously you don't know so I'll tell you and yes mostly it is turning out to be a good thread, no doubt it won't last.

Anyway the three are Ernie Blenkinsop  who had the record for consecutive England appearances 26 for many years. Harry Burgess and Ellis Rimmer, all six were Wednesday players name in the 1930 England squad.

Zakes has got the big C , so is  no longer able to go to matches , He is very badly . used to meet over a cuppa int market but no longer possible . Times change and football not all that important when they do .

What have Sheffield Wednesday done since the early 90s........

Other than live in our shadows....

Still big though 😂😂

They've been " a small bit bigger"....according to the Oracle History Writer that is Keith Treacy.

Still a third tier club, mind.

And ain't that the truth.

Didn't think he played for England after leaving Huddersfield.

Correct, Ron last played for England in the 1954 world cup finals in Switzerland, then with the Terriers, he joined the Owls in 1955.
