Lidl To Open High Street Shop.

Lidl are to open at 50 High Street - the former Nat West between Poundland and the Halifax.

Good news for pickled  herring lovers.

Wow, by that I assume the branch on the High Street is closed now????? 

 

When did that happen - not much point being with them these days as they have (as have others) closed so many branches.

50 High Street is NOT the NatWest , their address is 42, High St.

I believe so, that’s 50 High Street.

Thanks for the link, @nikki-red, but that is for the freehold for the whole unit, not AFAIK, not the actual bit that is currently the SD shop.

I know, it was supposed to be a link just to show that Sports Direct is in fact part of 50 High Street.

I think that's quite shrewd to be honest, with more people living in the city centre you need more supermarkets (not just little 'local' versions of chain supermarkets) to support them. Sainsburys on the Moor is always busy.
