Photos To Face Book. From Samsung Digimax L85 Camera

I have a Samsung digimax L85 camera , I love the camera but when I try to post a photo from the camera SD card onto face book I get the ,( Can't read files) notice , followed by 

photo's should be less than 4 mb ,   and saved as png. gif. tiff  heif or web p . files 

Its driving me daft , is it  the camera ? , I have tried it on Windows 10 and MacBook  , HELP!!!!!!!!!! please.
