Used to make rope swings in the forest. Would be a just a piece of rope hanging from a tree.  Sometimes we would put an old tire or plank of wood at the bottom if we could get one. The forest rangers used to cut them down after a while. Occasionally do still see some.

What we used to call  backnacking.

Trying to get from one end of Harworth Street to the other via the terraced house gardens without being spotted.Never achieved it.

Also of course wearing a sheath knife as a must part of an 11 year olds scout uniform.

Letting off stink bombs in cafes in town

Inputting rude words into 'Speak and Spell' machines in WHSmiths. Though I doubt whether that would be frowned upon now, rude words are part of everyone's vocab

I was brought up on Holtwood Rd & Crabtree lane so the NGH was our playground in the early 80's.

Racing our BMX bikes down Vickers Corridor most nights then getting a chase from security 😃

Reading through a selection of these major crimes I'm pretty sure they were frowned upon back in the day as well.
