You could maybe even share it with a colleague, a couple of nights each a week.  It would probably let quite easily on Airbnb, for someone looking for budget accommodation to visit London.  It would retain its value, whilst also serving a purpose. That makes it a decent investment.  I don't think you could live there permanently though.
 Share this content via...
Mister M   1,575 #3 Posted February 17, 2022 Just reading that bit in the article where Kirstie Allsop is quoted as saying "people could afford to buy their own homes if they spent less on the gym, easyJet flights, coffee and Netflix."  Hmm not everyone was born into a fabulously wealthy family like Kirstie was
 Share this content via...
butlers   224 #4 Posted February 17, 2022 At £50,000 it's " reasonable" by the crazed standards of London. The fact it's likely to go for at least double that is mind blowing
 Share this content via...

crookesey   588 #6 Posted February 18, 2022 I ‘m sure that it passed safety regs, however they don’t cover every eventuality. What if boy/girl about town gets cemixed, pulls someone in a similar state and comes back to micro flat for sex, drugs & rock & roll and sets fire to it? She’s entitled to her opinion, however IMHO she was talking complete rubbish, but I defend her right to make a fool of herself.
