crookesey   635 #2 Posted March 10, 2022 (edited) Most regular John Lewis customers parked up in the J/L car park and strolled down to Marks&Spencer to do their shopping. On their return to their car they loaded it up prior to taking refreshments in the J/L cafe in order to qualify for free parking.  IMHO this is not the way to run a business, perhaps a floor occupied by Waitrose might have given the rest of the store a fighting chance of survival, we’ll never know.
